THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Marie-Michelle's Restaurant on the Bay Restaurant Review: This restaurant clearly wants to transport its guests to another part of the world---the French Riviera, to be exact. As the only French restaurant located on the water in Naples (Venetian Bay), this venue lays legitimate claim to creating a romantic, European ambience. Among menu favorites are the oven-roasted lamb, presented in a fan of five chops over a Cognac demi-glace. Other choices include sautéed wild mushrooms in a delicate white wine and shallot bullion over linguini pasta, and slow-roasted Chilean sea bass in a chardonnay-scented consommé garnished with a julienne of leeks, carrots and celery root. The menu gives detailed attention to sauces and style. The desserts are equally impressive---rich in taste and splendidly presented.
