| The skyscraping sandwiches at this cosmopolitan, counter-service only deli in the Lower Highlands ’hood may not exactly qualify as "masterpieces," but they do come close. We like the black truffled egg salad---hard boiled eggs, red onions, capers and shaved black truffles---and the Cubano stacked with Black Forest ham, slow-roasted pork, dill pickles, mustard and garlic aïoli. The Cobb salad frolics with pepitas, piquillo peppers, applewood-smoked bacon, cucumbers and mixed lettuces and the lemon-honey panna cotta, draped with fresh seasonal berries and roasted pistachios, makes for a fine sugar finale. As an added bonus, the deli doubles as a mini market. Better bonus: The patio offers sweeping views of Denver’s city skyline. |
