Matsulin Restaurant Review: This unassuming Hampton Bays Pan-Asian spot attracts a loyal clientele with its sushi bar and wok and grill dishes. Try the Thai crab cake or Japanese shrimp tempura as an appetizer. Chicken salad inspired by Hong Kong comes with the house ginger dressing. Pad thai doesn't disappoint, and the Japanese salmon teriyaki deviates from the norm replacing the usual too-sweet sauce with a more savory version. The sushi bar offers all the usual suspects, as well as some special rolls including the Volcano: spicy yellowtail and a wasabi and tobiko topping. Wash it all down with some saké or a Japanese beer to complete your "travels."
