THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant Review

: This branch of the West Coast seafood chain appeals to an after-work crowd, who gather for reasonably priced happy hour bites. Snack on spinach dip, a half-pound cheeseburger, buffalo wings and seafood cakes and you won't want dinner. In the dining room, waitstaff deliver dishes with pomp --- the formulaic steakhouse routine suits the place, as does a menu printed daily to accommodate the catch of the day. Start off with blue crab, bay shrimp and artichoke dip or crispy buttermilk fried oysters before moving on to a sashimi combination platter or crab tower. Seafood specialties, best paired with a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio, include some unique finds, like Chilean sea bass and Parmesan crusted flounder. There is also a good selection of steaks and poultry, like a 22-ounce bone-in cowboy cut and roasted maple brined chicken. For dessert, try the twice-baked upside-down apple pie with a candied walnut crust, warm caramel sauce and cinnamon ice cream. Also located at 1 Faneuil Hall Market Pl., Boston, 617-720-5522.
