McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review: McCormick & Schmick's proposes a menu of fresh seafood that is printed twice daily. That means you might encounter everything from Manila clams from Washington to Watch Hill oysters from Rhode Island, ahi from Hawaii and local fish from the Great Lakes. The setting is lively and cheerful in a series of rooms located in a freestanding building adjacent to the upscale Somerset Collection. The structure was totally rebuilt and done with Honduran mahogany and decorative stained glass chandeliers and framed artwork celebrating both sea creatures and local icons like Motown musicians. Be sure to check out the happy hour offerings, such as hummus and pita chips, black mussels with white wine and herbs, and firecracker shrimp. Libations include whites and reds by the glass as well as microbrews, mojitos, margaritas and martinis.
