Under different ownership, Mediterranee has reshaped its menu, making the cooking more American-Mediterranean than French. Hence the whole focus is more casual, with lunch featuring such dishes as a bread salad and Prince Edward Island mussels simmered in white wine. Dinnertime may feature slightly more formal fare, with flash-fried calamari to start, easing into mains like bouillabaisse or chicken breast served with sides of oven-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. The American touch comes with the crab cakes with corn succotash. Desserts include crème caramel and a croissant bread pudding.
