Memphis Blues Barbeque House Restaurant Review

: An eatery dedicated to all things meat might seem a recipe for failure in a neighborhood where vegans and lacto-ovo vegetarians flourish. But Memphis Blues Barbeque House has thrived since it first threw open the doors. George Siu and Park Heffelfinger have been dishing out their brand of Southern-style barbecue for well over a decade, and their menu of classics reads like a Tennessee roadhouse. You'll find pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, barbecue chicken, catfish and beef brisket, to name a few of the offerings. Traditional sides include cornbread, barbecue pit beans and coleslaw. Enjoy a craft beer, or choose from a selection of fine bourbons or a glass of wine from an eclectic list. Tuck into a slice of pecan pie or a dish of peach crumble for a sweet finish. Casual counter service means you’ll have to queue up for your ’cue.
