1369 Coffee House Restaurant Review:
This Inman Square coffeehouse occupies the space that formerly housed a once-legendary jazz club, and it seems to have inherited some of that cool vibe. Relaxed to the max, it stocks its shelves with board games, while wall clocks show the time in Cambridge, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala --- we'd call that "coffee time." And very good coffee it is, whether it's brewed Colombian-style or French-style. Also offered are several loose leaf teas brewed in individual pots, mugs of steaming hot chocolate, homemade chai, lemonade, mocha slides and fresh cider. Start with a fresh baked muffin or filled croissant for breakfast and come back during lunchtime for the homemade soups, salads, quiche and sandwiches (like tarragon chicken or homemade hummus) that cater to Cantabrigians: wholesome and with lots of vegetables. Be sure to order a sweet coconut macaroon or fresh baked cookie with a foamy cappuccino to savor during a walk in the area.
