Buona Beef Restaurant Review:
Buona means good, and the Buonavolanto family who owns this beef stand is on to something special. But this is more than an Italian beef stand: it also offers burgers, pizzas and salads. The star of the show, spicy, tender beef, is prepared on the premises according to an old family recipe; it gets nestled into a soft roll and is best topped with hot peppers or thick strips of roasted sweet peppers (do it up right by getting both). Or, get a combo, the best of both worlds: Italian beef and charbroiled sausage. The Italian lemonade, served al fresco in the summer, is a thriller of a cooler. There are numerous other Chicago area locations.
