 Buona means good, and the Buonavolanto family who owns this beef stand is onto something special. But this is more than an Italian-beef stand: it’s also part Italian deli and sports a dining area, catering kitchen and ice cream shop. The spicy, tender beef is prepared on the premises according to an old family recipe. It gets nestled into a soft roll and is best topped with hot peppers or thick strips of roasted sweet peppers (do it up right by getting both).
