Little Nepal Restaurant Review:

Throngs of people (many with children in tow) descend upon this tiny Nepalese restaurant that doesn't take reservations. Inside, waiters with square-topped caps evocative of the Himalayan region maneuver smoothly, if slowly, within the homey room outfitted with blond wood and vivid primary colors. The menu is a blend of Chinese and Indian cuisine offering both the pot sticker-like steamed Nepalese dumplings called momos, and hearty curries rich with spices. Tender morsels of lamb are doused with mustard oils, shrimp is cooked in a tandoor, and chicken is stewed in a gingery, garlicky tomato sauce. Most entrées come with sides of lentil dal, curried vegetables and naan from the tandoor. Those with a sense of adventure might go for the buttered tea while others will enjoy the Indian-style yogurt smoothies or simply a cold beer.
