The outdoor patio vibrant with fresh herbs and flowing vines belies the fact that downtown Indianapolis is only 10 minutes away and a busy rail trail is nearby. Inside, intimate dining rooms offer guests a chance to eat in semi privacy while enjoying the furnishings of this lovely former home. Sicilian-style asparagus patties can whet the appetite for the signature misto mare, with its abundance of shrimp, mussels, scallops and crab simmered in a spicy tomato sauce and set atop tender linguine. Angel hair pasta is ideal for soaking up the lemon and caper sauce served with chicken piccata. Consider, too, the tender ravioli. While the wine selection is limited, there is a decent array. For dessert, try the ricotta-filled cannoli.
