Oyishi Restaurant Review:

This tiny, six-table West Village sushi spot has one main thing going for it: affordability that doesn’t compromise quality. The “all-day special” gets hungry diners three rolls for $10. And, fortunately, the fish feels like it was just pulled from the sea. There’s a long list of (more expensive) house rolls that are worth the splurge: the Love Roll is wrapped up with lobster tempura and avocado and then topped with crunchy crustacean. The East River Roll doesn’t include fish from the waterway between Manhattan and Brooklyn (fortunately); it is loaded with salmon, tuna, whitefish and smoked salmon, and drizzled with a special secret sauce.
