Panca Restaurant Review:

This West Village Peruvian spot emphasizes small plates, including ceviche (don’t miss the ceviche mixto with fluke, red snapper, shrimp, calamari and octopus in “leche de tiger”) and tiraditos. Entrées like Peruvian-style paella, aji panca-marinated skirt steak, and quinoa mushroom risotto with grilled asparagus and white truffle infusion taste even better when the weather’s right for taking advantage of the outdoor seating. The cocktail selection is wide and weighted toward the pisco sour, and desserts include the lasagna Amazonica --- caramelized pineapple slices with tropical fruit mousse and strawberry gazpacho.
