Red Feather Lounge Restaurant Review:

Red Feather Lounge underwent another renovation, trading in its dark, warm and sultry décor for light, cool and breezy. While the atmosphere is still chill, the white, acrylic bar top and coordinating features give the Feather a new, bright pop. The menu strives to provide local-source (or direct-source) foods, and offers a wide array of items, from share plates and pizzas to handhelds and supper. Treat yourself to the rosemary seared natural Idaho trout, and try everything on the share menu. Cocktails are still some of the best in town, from classics such as a Pimm's Cup and Sazerac, to The Fuzzy Leopard and The Pickpocket. While the first floor tends to be more social, upstairs seating offers more intimate arrangements. Fresh flowers and serene music keep the mood soft. For larger parties, Red Feather features a basement wine room with a wine humidor stretching through all three levels. Consider joining the Low Power Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., when lights are turned off to reduce the energy footprint and price cuts on food and drinks will reduce your expense.
