Merotoro Restaurant Review: Merotoro is the Colonia Condesa restaurant from Gabriela Cámara and Pablo Bueno, the chefs behind celebrated seafood eatery Contramar. At this venture, the focus is more on “turf” than “surf.” The rustic-industrial space has hewn wood and cement floors, and its whole façade opens onto Avenida Ámsterdam, one of the city’s most beautiful streets. The limited menu has included a delicate spinach-artichoke ravioli, tender beef short ribs and organic roast chicken. The wine list presents a number of worthwhile Mexican labels.
