| Nava Thai may be gone, but in its place is this homey Vietnamese eatery attached, ironically, to a Vietnamese-Asian grocery store. Except for the Vietnamese version of Thai’s favorite pad thai, the rest of the menu is solidly from Vietnam, including some beef pho with nine different variations, various noodle entrées, and some grilled dishes. Really worth ordering are the spring and summer rolls packed with flavorful fillings, and the grilled pork on vermicelli noodles. Other worthy options include the Vietnamese pancake stuffed with shrimp and pork, a zesty green papaya salad, and ground beef wrapped in grilled grape leaves. Don’t miss the bubble drinks, especially the durian-flavored one. |
