Michael Jordan's Steak House Restaurant Review

: With a wine list as long as His Airness's wingspan and a selection of fresh seafood and Prime-aged steaks to satisfy the heartiest of appetites, Michael Jordan's Steak House generally shoots and scores. Whereas the neighboring Michael Jordan 23 Sportcafé is memorabilia-filled and boisterous (check out those bathrooms), the dim-lit, sleekly contemporary steakhouse is a fine place to sequester yourself for an evening with special friends---and a very special cut of beef. The menu's reigning champ is the colossal bone-in rib-eye known as The Cowboy, boasting a zesty horseradish crust and, believe it or not, Mexican chocolate sauce. Team it with a family-size side of mashed potatoes with lobster and crème fraîche, and you may not be hungry again for days---especially if, like us, you can't resist starting your meal with the appealingly pungent blue cheese fondue and garlic bread. For those who prefer the surf side of the menu, we recommend the firm and flavorful seared sea scallops. If you really want to make an impression, order the grand chilled seafood platter. It will set you back a cool hundred bucks, but in an arena where hundreds change hands in every blink of an eye, we're willing to wager you'll walk away from the table with a satisfied smile. Unless, that is, you’re only satisfied after dessert---in which case the 23-layer chocolate cake has your name on it.
