It also doubles as a bustling bar scene on game night. Mickey Mantle, a heavy hitter, would have enjoyed a hulking rib-eye paired with a side of fried okra and creamed corn. A smaller appetite will go for the smoldering flavor of the mesquite-smoked filet accompanied by savory mashed sweet potatoes. Seafood lovers should try the thick and moist pan-roasted sea bass or the already cracked and split Alaskan king crab legs. Those who enjoy salads will be hard-pressed to choose between the Caesar, which is perhaps the best in Oklahoma City, and the apple salad featuring chopped iceberg, walnuts and grapes coated in blue cheese dressing. Whatever your preferences, you can’t go wrong by starting off with the oven-baked Maryland-style crab cake sauced with beurre blanc or a steaming hot cup of lobster bisque. At the top of the list of homemade desserts is the apple pie or chocolate cake, both pelted with gourmet spices and served à la mode. The dedicated sommelier has created a wine list of over 400 selections that includes an extensive list of half-bottle offerings, premium wines by the glass, and many fine after-dinner specialties.
