Miller's Restaurant Review: OK, so it's a bar. And all you can get to eat here are burgers, some sandwiches like grilled cheese or corned beef, and, during Lent, fish, fries and onion rings and such. But people come from all over the west side of Detroit for those burgers. Simplicity is a virtue: don't ask for lettuce or tomato; they aren't available but you can get cheese and onions. Those accustomed to fast-food burgers with a tiny patty and loads of cold garnish are in for a pleasant surprise. What makes Miller's burgers so good is the meat itself. How is it done? The answer is freshly ground beef, paired with a quality bun. If you come at mealtime, you're almost certain to find a line. |
