Natural wood abounds at Miminashi, from the ceilings to the tables to the striking high-backed booths. The downtown Napa restaurant from chef/owner Curtis Di Fede draws inspiration from Japanese izakayas (informal drinking and dining destinations). On the menu you'll find sashimi, yakitori, ramen, teppanyaki dishes and more. A five-course omakase (chef's choice) menu is available. There is also a takeout window serving soft cream (Japanese soft-serve) in rotating flavors like blueberry, peanut butter and watermelon-mint sorbet.
