THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mio Sogno Restaurant Review: THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Dig, if you will, the picture: Sinatra in the background, dimly lit red walls bedecked with antique mirrors, and a room crammed with everyone from the neighborhood. The classic, abundant food reflects the old days---this isn't the cuisine you ate on your last trip to Italy: eggplant Parmigiana and polenta with broccoli rabe; and old-fashioned rigatoni with sausage, porcinis and the secret touch of toasted breadcrumbs. It all belies the Sicilian heritage of the chef-owner, Joe Palutro. The plain fried veal cutlet is the crispiest in town, and the stuffed pork chop is a meal and a half.
