Molly's at the Market Restaurant Review: Named in part for its proximity to the famed New Orleans French Market, Molly's at the Market is a French Quarter neighborhood joint that's known for good drinks and better gossip. Coffee is just not coffee without an exaggerated shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey, and peppermint Schnapps in your hot chocolate is de rigueur. As this is a favorite watering hole for local media pros, information flows pretty freely. If you are hungry, burgers, tacos and some traditional bar food will take care of that. The crowd routinely spills out onto the sidewalk so the area outside the front door is considered part of the bar. And where else can you find a jukebox that offers a mix of Frank Sinatra, Talking Heads and Lenny Kravitz? Two of the best nights to hit Molly’s are St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, when the bar sponsors a traditional New Orleans holiday parade.
