Monico's Taqueria Restaurant Review: Owner Monico Hernandez Martinez makes all his sauces in-house in this friendly restaurant staffed mostly by family members. The menu reflects his home region of Central Mexico, and he uses fresh, quality ingredients, many of them local. We recommend the seafood burrito, fish or chicken tacos, chicken mole and fajitas, as well as the seafood nachos. Portions are hearty, with pinto beans, rice and chunky guacamole, and prices are fair. This restaurant is always busy, so service can be slow. Dine in or outside at covered picnic tables, but expect a wait as it’s popular with locals and visitors.
