Moxie Restaurant Review: Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood in midtown Sacramento, Moxie remains a popular choice for locals despite the barrage of hipper, flashier restaurants nearby. The vibe is upscale but not at all pretentious, as diners come here for the food, not the scene. The creative menu, much of it Italian-inspired though dishes can range from Asian-inflected to American, features fresh seafood, meat, poultry and pasta, all artfully presented. Starters may include grilled eggplant and crab pot stickers, while jambalaya, scallop and prawn scampi, and mushroom chicken are main courses. Or, if you prefer, tell the chef exactly what you're in the mood for, and if they have it, they'll make it just for you. |
