Frequented by celebrities dining in the glass-enclosed private room, N9ne is a hip place to see and be seen. Among appetizers, we like the deep-fried rock shrimp served in a fun popcorn container with two sauces. When we're feeling more elegant, we go for the Kobe tartare served with quail egg, Parmigiano and ciabatta toast. Try the lobster bisque with fresh Maine lobster meat, Cognac and chive crème fraîche. Burger cravings are satisfied with the freshly ground Kobe beef burger with apple wood-smoked bacon, aged Vermont cheddar, grilled onion and fries. The fresh Maine lobster mashed potatoes are an apt complement to the Prime aged steaks cooked in the 1,200-degree ovens.
