THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Naked Fish Restaurant Review:

Out goes Vinny Testa’s and in comes Naked Fish. Welcome to the chain gang location. One branch of the burgeoning seafood-Caribbean chain begun by Joey Crugnale. (He had made Bertucci’s wildly popular.), there’s a Miami Beach look. And what you hear is a big part of what you get. Inside the look is kind of Miami Beach and Havana daydreaming done up for the masses. There’s a menu of island-inspired drinks. While some have cute names like mangorita, they make an authentic daiquiri that would please Papa Hemingway; but take note their Mojito fails to follow the real route as ginger ale is in the mix. There are some Cuban-named items on the menu such as Havana seafood salad and Cuban spicy chicken, but the real focus is wood-grilled naked fish. Offering ten varieties most entrées come with two sides chosen from a long list making it possible to have plantains and maple-glazed carrots. and sautéed mushrooms and onions. This suburban spots play to couples and families; ands it’s no reservation policy means a weekend wait if you dine prime time. With Boston conquered by the ersatz Cuban theme, Crugnale has his sites set on the Mid-Atlantic.
