Narita’s a fine spot to sample the efficient and aesthetically pleasing Japanese box meals. At lunch there are a number of light choices, with sushi and sashimi getting the spotlight. Tempura tends to be so light here that the taste is a little too subtle, so stick with the noodles or the grilled-meat boxes. Dinner boxes (and other nonbox full dinners) actually provide more food than most people can eat. Dinners open with an oddly Western salad with French dressing but quickly redeem their authenticity with good miso soup. It’s also a very pleasing space and popular with Asian students.
