Nate's Deli & Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Nate’s is a casual, comfortable storefront near the West Side Market run by Joe and Sally Maalouf. The traditional Middle Eastern dishes --- falafel, fattoosh and hummus --- all are done with native expertise. We suggest the shwarma plate served with lean strips of beef sautéed with tomato and topped with a creamy tahini sauce. Homemade baklava, drizzled with cinnamon-rich, honey-flavored syrup, is the best bet for dessert.
