THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Nella Pizzeria Napoletana Restaurant Review:

Some places say they’re the real deal when it comes to creating traditional Italian pizzas. And then there’s Nella, the Lincoln Park restaurant, which imported 12,000 pounds of volcanic brick from Mt. Vesuvius for its pizza oven. But the owners, including Scott Harris of the Mia Francesca chainlet and Purple Pig, didn’t stop there. They also brought in one of the Italy’s top oven builders to create it. The beautiful, blue-tiled, fire-breathing beast turns out 20-or-so pizzas, including four stuffed ones. The menu also features pastas, salads and appetizers, but it’s the pizzas, in particular the one topped with prosciutto, smoked mozzarella, arugula and shaved Parmesan, that get our undivided attention. A thoughtfully priced wine and beer list keeps the bill within budget.
