Niko Patel's two wine shops, one in Lawrenceville and another in Snellville, are set with barrel tables and chairs so that patrons may enjoy a glass of wine in relative comfort. This location also has a fine outdoor patio. Besides good wine, Patel and his partner, Leslie Maske, use good glassware to enhance the experience. Selected wines are offered by the glass, but at both establishments patrons may have management open any bottle in the shop if they will purchase two glasses. The inventory ranges from new-world choices to classic old-world wines, and includes still and sparkling, dry and sweet. Guests may purchase simple snacks or bring in their own nibbles without incurring the owners' opprobrium, and, in fact, are encouraged to do so.
