Noble Rot Restaurant Review: Enjoy Noble Rot’s expansive fourth floor perspective from either the outdoor patio or the glassed-in porch. There's a seasonal menu that is about as locally sourced as it gets: many ingredients are grown in the restaurant's expansive rooftop garden (public tours are offered each Tuesday at 5 p.m.). The 300-plus-selection wine list includes 30 to 50 wines by the glass, and typically a half dozen wine flights. Competent servers know their stuff and ably guide patrons through their wine journeys. A full bar is available as well if you prefer a cocktail with dinner. Try one of the interesting salads, perhaps a melding of green beans, red pepper, almonds and manchego, or one of the panini (ham, cheddar and mango chutney, or grilled butternut squash with caramelized onions and goat cheese). Heartier dishes range from rockfish with pepper, squash, corn and shrimp in tomato broth, to fried chicken with red rice, green beans and grilled peaches. The happy hour menu is updated frequently and runs from 5 p.m.-6 p.m.
