Noche Tequila & Tapas Bar Restaurant Review: Noche feeds suburban diners in one of Atlanta’s most upscale shopping venues. The restaurant explores the grab bag of Hispanic flavors, with a few dishes that recall Spanish fare (saffron paella) while most everything else points to Mexico. Each location of Noche offers one signature dish, and at Vinings it's meatballs (albondigas) made with chicken, beef and chorizo (Mexican style) in a tomato-guajillo sauce. The quite respectable fish taco goes for $2 on a Monday night, along with the other tacos on the menu (except the lobster). The torta cubana is a hybrid of the Mexican torta and the Cuban medianoche, but the pork is a little dry, so ask for a double hit on the mojo sauce to go with it. For dessert---all are made in-house---get the chocolate tres leches cake, despite its overwrought presentation. We wish the wine list worked better with this food, but the beers and mixed drink options satisfy. |
