THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Noggin's Raw Bar & Pub Restaurant Review:

This venerable eatery covers a lot of ground on its eclectic menu. The large space is made to feel cozier with lower lighting, brick-look floor tiling, tight seating and walls covered with framed wine-themed pictures and posters. Appetizers include seafood chowder of the day, smoked black pepper salmon with cilantro-lime mayonnaise, deep-fried calamari with lemon/sun-dried tomato aioli and skewered chicken with spicy peanut sauce. Tenderloin tips and feta over mixed greens, artichoke hearts and pecans (available with chicken); and Mandarin almond turkey with caramelized onions over greens are two of the excellent salads. Entrées feature chargrilled medallions of beef tenderloin with a roasted-shallot Cabernet reduction sauce; scampi sautéed with shallots, garlic, cream, saffron and vermouth over spinach spaghettini; and a spinach spaghettini with smoked chicken, sun-dried cherries, shallots, garlic, feta and toasted almonds. Terrific sandwiches are also available. Service is friendly and professional.
