Noodle Theory Restaurant Review: This small noodle shop in the heart of Rockridge, tucked into a triangular space at the corner of Claremont and College Avenues, has been heartily embraced by the neighborhood. Locals pop in a couple times a week for the grilled beef udon in a coconut curry sauce (made with Niman Ranch beef, natch), the pork belly ramen and the dry-sautéed green beans. Fresh, well-seasoned pot stickers and cold soba noodles with sesame dressing and asparagus are lighter choices. With affordable prices, a spare modern interior and a friendly staff, Noodle Theory hits all the right marks. |
