There’s more to Noodles than just pasta at this busy, friendly combination eat-in, take- out spot on the Somerville-Cambridge line. The chef-owner used to run Bernardo’s in the North End so he knows his way around Italo-American comfort food, rendering good things with eggplant and pasta. There are some good soups, sandwiches, big salads and over a dozen hot pasta entrées, ranging from cheese ravioli with pesto to spinach fettuccine with peas, prosciutto and cream. Noodles also sells a large variety of uncooked pastas and sauces for home cooking, including pumpkin ravioli in season.
