 Norma's Restaurant Review: This pretty little verandah café maintains a high standard whatever meal it’s preparing. At breakfast, it offers a variety of Benedicts, and keeps two on the menu for lunch, too; the Norma’s eggs Benedict are offered on a buttermilk pancake rather than a muffin, while the "artychoked" Benedict is accompanied by a truffle-porcini sauce. The menu is fairly mainstream, but there are several interesting variations. Try the matzo ball chicken pho, the crispy fish tacos with chipotle salsa and pickled onions, or the pulled pork with noodles and vegetables. There's also a huge range of pies. Light-hearted comfort food for a light-hearted, comfortable place. |
