Novo Restaurant Review: Novo’s shady creek-side setting guarantees location, location, location, but from there, the inventive global cooking takes over the itinerary. The menu has included everything from Moroccan lamb kefta patties to Korean short ribs, carnitas sopes, huevos rancheros, shrimp and avocado spring rolls, and a wild salmon sandwich with ginger aïoli. Most dishes are very vegetarian-friendly, and the kitchen will also go above and beyond to honor special requests such as vegan and gluten-free. For dessert, we usually go for the house sorbets and crème brûlées. The intriguing and wide-ranging beverage list offers an extensive mix of bottled beers, wines (including half-glass options) and saké, and a full bar turns out sips like a Sazerac and a bacon-infused Bloody Mary.
