 The serene yet vibrant creekside setting draws a lot of first-timers to Novo, but the eclectic global menu makes this a go-to spot year-in and year-out. The restaurant’s owners pioneered the farm-to-table concept in the area, so you can expect fresh, seasonal fare. Salmon bisque is a perennial favorite, as are the Vietnamese lettuce wraps, Korean short ribs with house-made kimchi, Malaysian chicken curry and the breakfast sausage sandwich served at brunch. The kitchen will also go above and beyond to honor special requests such as vegan and gluten-free, and a good part of the menu is already vegetarian. For desserts, we usually go for the house sorbets and crème brûlées. The intriguing and wide-ranging beverage list offers an extensive mix of bottled beers, wines and sakés, plus a full bar serves up everything from a Sazerac to a bacon-infused Bloody Mary.
