THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Oaks Restaurant Review: Named for the large tree that grows in the middle of the expansive dining room, The Oaks' menu pays homage to that mighty member of the plant world with stick-to-your-ribs fare, prepared with gourmet flair. Although it's known for its steaks and chops, particularly the aged Prime center-cut beef, there's an impressive array of poultry and seafood dishes such as outstanding swordfish, crab cakes and chicken Cordon Bleu. In addition, the warmly elegant eatery features a number of top-notch appetizers including portobello mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat, clams and oysters on the half shell, clams casino and such sides as fresh creamed spinach and roast garlic mashed potatoes, as well as outstanding desserts. You will not leave hungry; don't forget the doggie bag.
