THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Oasis Restaurant Review:

Lovely Asian waitresses in sarongs and T-shirts, will do your bidding at this chic new spot on Restaurant Row. It’s a serene space, with a waterfall on one wall, and well placed orchid arrangements. The floor is tiled in peach and green, and these colors are echoed in the green granite tabletops, green napkins and green glassware, and peach walls. The young, Asian-hip crowd is doing flights of sake at the upstairs bar; downstairs they’re choosing from an international menu that embraces Japan, Thailand, China, Korea, and the U.S.A. Start with an assortment of sushi and sashimi, have some handrolls if that is not enough, and switch to Korean (grilled short ribs) or American (salmon with a lemongrass beurre blanc). The prices are high for this kind of dining, but you must consider the location and ambiance. Desserts are just okay---key lime tart or coconut ice cream, perhaps.
