THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Old Oak Tap Restaurant Review:

There’s something reassuring about knowing good food is available --- in the middle of the night. And when it’s served in a setting where you want to linger, you can bet it’s a recipe for success. Enter Old Oak Tap, a Ukie Village breath of fresh air, where repurposed wood details, stained glass lighting, communal tables and a modern American menu offer just that. Day, night or practically at morning light, we’ll take the bison sliders on pretzel rolls, spicy fish tacos or the “fat boy” pulled pork pie with tangy Vermont cheddar, fries and mashed potatoes and green goddess dressing. House-made pretzels deviate from the norm when paired with horseradish-cheddar fondue and Guinness mustard sauce, as do sandwiches like the lump crab club with Old Bay aïoli. The weekend brunch promises hangover relief by way of chipotle-black bean chilaquiles and grilled rib-eye with a fried egg. A plentiful beer list and low-key but forward-thinking wine list complete the package.
