Old Sugar Mill Grill & Griddle House Restaurant Review:
You have to pay an entrance fee to De Leon Springs State Park, but it includes the chance to eat in an ancient setting where the water wheel, now restored, once ran a grist mill. Still today, grains are freshly milled to make pancake batters that you cook on the griddle in your table. There are also eggs to cook and sandwiches made with whole-grain breads. Stroll the grounds where Ponce de Leon is thought to have stepped ashore, take a nature cruise or rent a canoe.
