THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED OM Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review:
It’s time to find your inner zen at OM, the Harvard Square restaurant/nightclub that is as sleek as it is chic. But, a round of aromatherapy martinis ---the Tiger Speak, for example, is composed with rye infused with elderflower and makrut --- served in a Tibetan art-filled lounge does not a spiritual experience make. You won’t exactly want to meditate on the prices either. And yet, something about this place works; certainly the owners, themselves Nepalese, have gone to great lengths to ensure that it does. Like the lounge, the dining room is lavish, yet somehow tasteful. Shared plates include shrimp, pork and shiitake water dumplings and curried lamb, spinach and feta flatbread pizza. Move on to crispy tempura nori-wrapped salmon or duck confit chow fun. You will also find steak frites and an Angus burger alongside pot stickers.
