| When an out-of-the-way Italian restaurant attracts a following as strong as Onesto's, you know its foundation --- dough --- is done right. Pastas are likewise well executed, and the option of ordering a family-style meal of homemade meatballs and zesty marinara has an old-world charm that’s hard to resist. Specials and sandwiches veer toward American favorites like pot roast, but as with the pizza toppings they emphasize locally grown or organic ingredients. A rotating menu of unique sangrĂas (with flavors like lemon spice or strawberry-lavender-bourbon) makes for a fun experiment, but for something more traditional, the wine list has a nice diversity in geography and price. |
