THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Orange & Scarlett's Restaurant Review:

Lucero Obregón, who brought authentic Mexican food to Atlanta at Zócalo and Oh...María!, has hit big with her ice cream and soup-sandwich joints, now numbering two. Little about it is Mexican, except for the fine organic coffee from Chiapas and a few other touches. The high point is the homemade ice cream (the coffee flavor is fabulous and intense). Some dish names refer to local circumstances, such as the Franklin Turnover, named to honor the city’s first female mayor. Piedmont Perk is an homage to the noble pistachio, with toasted pistachios mixed in. Breakfast is sundry bagels with inventive spreads---including a salsa-flavored number---or scrambled eggs. The crêpes are ever changing. The florentine is a nontraditional dish, rather more like a salad wrapped in a crêpe, and thus of questionable success, although the ingredients are, of course, pristinely fresh.
