When Myles O'Reilly opened an Irish pub in a primarily Italian neighborhood, some folks scoffed, but O'Reilly knew exactly what he was doing---his hugely popular pub is a raging success. Where else in North Beach can you get an authentically hearty Irish breakfast, replete with eggs, grilled tomato, Irish bacon, potatoes, and black and white puddings? Other solid offerings include beer-battered fish 'n' chips and a rib sticking Irish stew. For dessert, try one of O'Reilly's Irish coffees, which is one of the best in town. More than a dozen draft beers are available, including microbrews like Anchor Steam and Fat Tire, along with Guinness and Harp.
