Original Pancake House Restaurant Review: Pancake fans flock to the Original Pancake House to sample the more than 50 varieties of hotcakes, flapjacks and crêpes that can be stuffed with fresh and stewed fruits, tart lingonberry jam, whipped cream and chocolate chips. To us, all of these pale in comparison to the Dutch Baby, an air-filled, oven-baked soufflé-like pancake served with lemon, whipped butter and powdered sugar. More savory choices include omelets, scrambles and corned beef hash. It’s fine for families as the patient staff truly loves kids. |
