 P.D. O'Hurley's is located right on Pier 84 near the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. (A dog park is also nearby, and four-legged friends are welcome at this outdoor café.) The restaurant's name and festive spirit are Irish, but the food is mostly American. On offer are salads, sandwiches (including pulled pork on a Kaiser roll), burgers and hot dogs, plus main dishes such as a 12 oz. New York strip steak, crab cakes and Southern fried chicken. Prospective guests should note that the opening hours are based on good weather, so it's best to call ahead if the skies are looking stormy. Also, diners that present a New York Water Taxi ticket receive a meal discount. Other locations.
