Pacific'O Restaurant Review: Located on the beach, this open-air restaurant, with seating on the lanai at the ocean's edge, is a wonderful place for sunset dining. We recommend chef James McDonald's signature shrimp wontons and marble sashimi as appetizers. It would be a shame to miss the fresh fish with Lahaina Harbor's fishing fleet next door. Also top-rate are the ahi nori tempura (tuna wrapped in seaweed, dipped in tempura batter and quickly fried to medium rare, served with white miso dressing and lime-basil sauce) and the vegetarian selection for entrées, as well as the pineapple-banana lumpia for dessert. Try the sesame-crusted fish or the goat cheese salad for lunch.
