Palladio Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Chef Melissa Close Hart and her kitchen staff cook up four-course dinners with wine pairings, especially apt given the restaurant's vineyard residence. Start, perhaps, with fennel pollen-dredged sweetbreads; continue with such dishes as semolina and herb gnocchi, progress to braised Piedmontese beef short ribs, and finish with honey and buttermilk panna cotta. And if these prescribed, artful dishes don’t sound special enough, there are periodic events such as an annual truffle feast. In the past, the restaurant closed every January so chef Hart and her crew could travel to Italy to study cuisine, incorporating new knowledge into menu offerings.
